Privacy Policy

Your voice is yours. So is your data. This policy explains what SoulPower collects, why we collect it, what we do with it, and the choices you have. We've written it in plain language — but the commitments are real, and we're accountable to them.
This policy applies to the SoulPower mobile app, the SoulPower website at soulpower.app, and any related services (collectively, "SoulPower" or "the Service") operated by RUDDY MARKETING INC. ("we," "us," or "our").
1. What We Collect
1.1 Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password. If you sign in with a third-party provider (Apple, Google), we receive only what that provider shares with us — typically your email and a unique identifier.
1.2 Voice data. To create your personalized manifestations, we record a short voice sample (about 30 seconds) that we use to generate a voice model trained exclusively on your voice. This is the most sensitive data SoulPower processes, and Section 4 of this policy is dedicated entirely to how we handle it.
1.3 Goal and content data. We collect the categories you select — General Abundance, Financial Abundance, Love & Soulmate, Magnetic Confidence, Career & Purpose, Health & Body, and Self-Love & Inner Peace — and any custom inputs you provide so we can generate manifestations tailored to you. We also retain the manifestations generated for you so they're available across your devices.
1.4 Usage and device information. Like most apps, we collect basic information about how you use SoulPower — sessions started, durations selected, features used — and standard device information (device type, OS version, anonymized identifiers, crash logs). We use this to improve the product, fix bugs, and understand which features matter most.
1.5 Payment information. Subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not collect or store your full payment card information. The app stores share with us only what's needed to confirm your subscription status (e.g., subscription tier, renewal date).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and operate SoulPower (creating your voice model, generating manifestations, syncing across devices).
- Personalize the experience based on the goals and categories you select.
- Communicate with you about your account, important updates, and (with your consent) educational content from the SoulPower Blog.
- Process and manage your subscription.
- Improve the product through aggregated, anonymized analytics.
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, security issues, and abuse.
- Comply with our legal obligations.
We do not use your voice, goals, or content for advertising, profiling, or to train any AI model that is shared across users. See Section 4 for the specific commitments around your voice data.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in the limited circumstances below:
3.1 Service providers. We use trusted third parties to help us run SoulPower — for example, cloud hosting and data storage (Supabase), voice model processing (Speechify), subscription management (RevenueCat), the app stores (Apple, Google), customer support, and analytics. These providers may process your data only on our behalf, only for the services we ask them to perform, and only under contractual obligations consistent with this policy.
3.2 Legal requests. We may disclose information if we are legally required to do so (subpoena, court order, lawful government request). When we can, we will notify you before disclosure unless prohibited by law.
3.3 Business transfers. If SoulPower is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may transfer to the successor entity, but the protections in this policy will continue to apply unless we provide you notice and a meaningful choice.
3.4 Nothing else without asking. If we ever want to share your data in a way not described in this policy, we will ask first.
4. Voice Data — Our Specific Commitments
SoulPower exists because hearing your goals in your own voice works better than hearing them in a stranger's. We take that seriously, and the protections around your voice data are stronger than those around any other category of information we hold. The following commitments apply specifically to your voice data:
- Your voice trains your model — and only your model. We never use your voice data to train any system that's shared with other users or with third parties.
- We do not sell, license, or share your voice data with advertisers or third parties. Service providers who process your voice on our behalf are bound by contractual obligations to the same standards in this policy.
- Your voice model is encrypted at rest and in transit. It is associated with your account and accessible only to you.
- You can delete your voice anytime. From within the app, navigate to Settings > Voice > Delete. When you delete your voice, the underlying model and all associated audio are removed from our servers within 30 days. After that period, we cannot recover the deleted data.
- Your voice clone cannot be exported or downloaded. It is locked to your SoulPower account and cannot be used outside the SoulPower app.
- If you delete your account, your voice data is deleted with it. Account deletion erases all SoulPower data associated with you, including your voice model, generated manifestations, goals, and history.
Biometric notice and consent. Your voice sample and the voice model derived from it may be considered biometric information under certain state and national laws (for example, the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act). We collect and use this data only with your consent, only to provide the voice features you request, and we retain it only as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, after which it is deleted as described above. By recording your voice in the app, you consent to this collection and use.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide SoulPower to you. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your information within a reasonable period, except where we are legally required to keep it (for example, certain financial records may be retained for tax compliance).
To delete your account, navigate to Settings > Account > Delete Account in the app, or email us at support@soulpower.app and we will process your request.
6. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Delete your information (with limited exceptions for legal compliance).
- Restrict or object to certain processing.
- Receive a copy of your information in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent for processing where we rely on consent.
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@soulpower.app from the address on your account. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (typically 30 days).
California residents. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under California law. To exercise these rights, email support@soulpower.app; we will not discriminate against you for doing so.
EEA, UK, and Switzerland. If you are in these regions, you have rights under the GDPR or equivalent local laws. We process your personal data on the legal bases of performing our contract with you (providing the Service), your consent (for voice data and optional communications), and our legitimate interests (security, product improvement). Where we transfer data to the United States, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses. To exercise your rights, contact support@soulpower.app.
7. Children's Privacy
SoulPower is intended for users 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@soulpower.app and we will delete the information.
8. International Users & Data Transfers
SoulPower is operated from the United States. If you access SoulPower from outside the U.S., you understand that your information may be processed and stored in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. Where required, we use appropriate cross-border transfer mechanisms (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect your information.
9. Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information — including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect your data and will notify you of any breach affecting your information as required by applicable law.
10. Cookies & Analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, analyze traffic, and improve the experience. You can control cookies through your browser settings. The mobile app uses standard mobile analytics tools to help us understand usage patterns; you can manage analytics permissions through your device's privacy settings.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Effective" date at the top and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email. Your continued use of SoulPower after the updated policy takes effect means you accept the changes.
